The MICROSPACE® computer systems for the medical fi eld are EN60601 certifi ed and fulfi ll security restrictions so that if patient contact occurs there will be no improper high current fl ow. The systems possess medical grounding clamps and are insulated accordingly. Systems have been installed in operating theaters and intensive care stations but also in doctor‘s offi ces and patient‘s rooms.

The MPCV200M includes all standard interfaces (COMs, USB, LAN, VGA) and is internally expandable with two PC/104express cards. A SATA300 hard drive is built-in for mass storage. The system is protected against too high patient discharge currents and has a medical technological grounding connection. The rugged, closed and easy-care chromium steel housing uses an integrated, passive, maintenance-free cooling design. The omission of a fan prevents any contaminants from infiltrating the computer.

| MPC50M The fan-free, EN60601 certified, medical computer
The MPC50M operates on a Core2Duo multiprocessor with 2GByte memory. This system has all the standard interfaces (COMs, USB, LAN, DVI, VGA) and is expandable with two PCI cards or two PCIe cards. For mass storage, a passively cooled SATA300 hard drive with up to 1TB capacity is built-in (a second drive is optionally available). The system is protected against too high patient discharge currents and has a medical technological grounding connection. The robust, easy-care aluminum housing has an integrated passive, maintenance-free cooling design. The omission of a fan prevents any contaminants from infiltrating the computer. Two passively cooled video cards (PEG/PCIexpress) are available as options to be built-in.
